Draconian Mole
DOWNLOAD LINK: Please visit my WordPress entry for the download link. All rules etc will be completely up to date there. Link is https://fmmole.wordpress.com/2016/06/05/the-counties-leagues/ The FA are proud to announce a new league system for England – the Counties League! The Counties Leagues are split into two divisions, primarily based on alphabetical order before promotions and relegations occur. There have been either one or two teams picked to represent their county, from each one of them. A club is only eligible to represent their county if they have been playing in the Vanarama National League North or South prior to the league system being implemented. To determine finances and everything else similar for new teams with two clubs merging, both of the clubs details will have been added together and halved. For example, if a team had £400,000 in its bank, and it was combined with a team that had £600,000 in their bank, the new club’s balance would be £500,000 due to the way this system works. To determine finances and everything similar for new teams with only one club representing, only that clubs details will be transferred to the new club. For example, if a team had £500,000 in its bank, the new club would have £500,000 in its balance due to there being no penalty for only one club transferring. To determine stadiums and training grounds, it has been drawn out of a hat to see where each team will play, and where they will train. Teams prior to the league system, such as Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc, will all still exist and pay their players, although there will be no games played by these teams. The new teams will have to pay the amount asked by the former teams, they will not leave on a free transfer unless their contract is ending. Side note: This is due to the save file having a crash dump if I make these teams ‘extinct’ Both of the chairmen of the previous clubs have been transferred to the new teams to make sure that the teams are able to function correctly. There are no coaches, scouts, physiotherapists or a manager at these new teams, however, and the chairmen will look for a new staff from the very start. For new teams with only one team representing them, the 20 best players will be transferred (In accordance with Football Manager 2016’s current ability ratings for these players) from the old team, and will be under contract with the new team with immediate effect. For new teams with two teams representing them, the 10 best players from each prior team will be transferred to the new team, and will be under contract with immediate effect. Here are all of the new teams, with a side note of which team will be representing them. Bedfordshire – Luton Berkshire – Reading Bristol – Bristol City and Bristol Rovers Buckinghamshire – MK Dons and Wycombe Wanderers Cambridgeshire – Cambridge and Peterborough Cheshire – Crewe and Macclesfield Cornwall – Truro Cumbria – Carlisle and Barrow Derbyshire – Derby Devon – Exeter and Plymouth Dorset – Bournemouth Durham – Darlington and Hartlepool East Riding of Yorkshire – Hull and North Ferriby East Sussex – Brighton and Eastbourne Essex – Colchester and Southend Gloucestershire – Cheltenham and Forest Green Greater London – Arsenal and Tottenham Greater Manchester – Manchester United and Manchester City Hampshire – Southampton and Portsmouth Herefordshire – Hereford Hertfordshire – Watford and Stevenage Kent – Maidstone and Dartford Lancashire – Burnley and Blackburn Leicestershire – Leicester Lincolnshire – Grimsby and Scunthorpe Merseyside – Liverpool and Everton Norfolk – Norwich North Yorkshire – Middlesbrough and York City Northamptonshire – Northampton and Brackley Nottinghamshire – Nottingham Forest and Mansfield Oxfordshire – Oxford Shropshire – Telford and Shrewsbury Somerset – Yeovil and Bath South Yorkshire – Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday Staffordshire – Stoke and Burton Albion Suffolk – Ipswich and Bury Surrey – AFC Wimbledon and Woking Tyne and Wear – Newcastle and Sunderland Warwickshire – Nuneaton West Midlands – West Brom and Aston Villa West Sussex – Crawley West Yorkshire – Leeds and Huddersfield Wiltshire – Swindon Worcestershire – Kidderminster and Worcester Please note that if your county is not listen then that means that your county does not have a club above the Vanarama National League North or South division. As you can see, with some teams there is a clear advantage over the quality of players than other teams, but it is not our fault that certain teams were did not have the quality of players that the other teams have. In both leagues, there will be 42 matches played, with 3 points for a win, and 1 for a draw. 7 substitutions will be named, while 3 may be used. In disciplinary terms, for both divisions, a player will receive a one match ban after 5 yellow cards, a two match ban after the next 3 yellow cards, a three match ban after the next 2 yellow cards after that, a four match ban after the next 2 yellow cards after that, and finally will receive a five match ban for every additional 2 yellow cards after that. A player will receive an automatic 2 match ban for every red card. The summer transfer window takes place from the 1st of July to the 31st of August. While the winter transfer window takes place from the 1st of January to the 31st of January. For each of the 44 teams, there is an U21 and U18 team, all playing in their respective leagues. There is also a cup for each age group. Please do note that there is no FA Cup or League Cup any more.
