If you schedule a league to be 40 weeks long, but there's only 20 matches, you'll only get a match every 2 weeks. Either make it so there are more matches by making it more rounds or adding more teams, or shorten the length of the schedule so that the number of weeks match up to the number of match days, of course making sure that any cup and international fixtures are taken into consideration. For instance a league that is 30 matches, has 3 cup rounds on a Saturday, and 5 international fixtures on a Saturday would require 38 weeks. You could use less weeks, if you don't mind Wednesday night matches, but having less will leave gaps. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
