Need Tactic Overview - Leicester City

Lets get down to business, Leicester Save. Currently in my first game vs U21's. Need Tactical Advice or just an overview.

Club DNA - First Touch is important, Players who are good on the ball but work hard for the team.

Playing style - Difficult to break down, Offering a threat when we have the ball.

Mentality: Standard

Shape: Flexible

Formation:

My thinking behind this, in defensive transitions we will be in this shape but because of the duties of Mahrez & Albrighton, in attacking areas it will be a 4321.

Example:

Kante (BBM) has the ball, as you can see Mahrez & Albrighton are very narrow. Inler and Drinkwater are behind the ball which is good so if there is any counter attacks they can sweep up.

However, I want mahrez and albrighton to almost be sitting on the right angle of the penalty box on each side, stretching the back 4 out. There is space however for my fullbacks (s) would a simple role change to WB (s) or FB (a) allow them to hit the space?

My shouts were to play slightly wider because in the first half it was too narrow, as expected the U21s are playing deep and narrow. Playing teams like this I have slightly deeper on myself, but could simple PI's maybe to Mahrez & Albrighton and Role changes to my fullbacks help me break down teams who will defend deep against me?

If you want to break them down putting the fullback on the right on attack duty looks like a good option. He is already in position to put the opponents defense in a lot of trouble and Mahrez isn't really looking to use space out wide so if you can give up the fullbacks defensive position (which you probably can with Inler and Drinkwater in those positions) he can be a real attacking thread. The moment their #5 has to leave Mahrez to close down a fullback on his way to put a cross into Vardy their back line has some serious problems.

I don't think you need a CM-D as well as a DM-D. I'd give Drinkwater a support duty. CM, DLP or AP could all work.

Thanks everyone for posting, I have made a couple of changes. Some that I come across mid game and a change or two advise by you guys!

Positional Changes

Drinkwater to CM (S) Felt like that we needed a little bit more support for vardy, advised by you guys.

Simpson to FB (A) Provide overlapping runs for teams who like to sit deep, again advised by you guys.

Shape Changes

I play on standard but I want to create space, I want wingers to be able to run in behind, run at defenders causing problems. I cant do this with no space, so I have gone from normal line to slightly deeper.

Playing style Instruction

Was drawing 0-0 against FC Utrecht away from home at half time, then I thought I am trying to create space so when I have the ball I need to pass in the space. Pass Into Space On. Win Game 3-0.
