Assistant Manager getting involved in transfer bids

Recommended Posts

I keep getting my of my players and I don't know how to stop it from happening!!! ***FM2013***

It is ABSOLUTELY FRUSTRATING :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I like putting my transfer-listed players to B Team, out of the way. The problem is that I completely loose control of transfer bids!

1. I set all my transfer-listed players to "no instructions" under transfer status.

2. I got them back on 1st squad.

3. In staff responsibilities, I control everything.

4. I've put them all on the unwanted list, although I cannot understand what it really does!

(he even rejected bids that I was willing to accept!)

So, my question is as follows:

HOW CAN I HAVE FULL CONTROL OF ALL TRANSFER BIDS, even of my unwanted players are in B Team, without any of my staff getting involved?

Alright, alright. Calm down. I might be able to help. :)

I suspect that's why your assistant manager - or perhaps your Director of Football, if you have one of those - is responding to transfer bids on your behalf.

I don't used the Unwanted List all that often, but I think it's perhaps worth reminding you of what all the sale options for the Unwanted List mean. (If any of you are more experienced at this, feel free to correct any errors I may have made.)

'Sell for value' (first option) - Assistant/DoF will look to sell the player, but will reject all offers of less than the specified price.

'Sell at any price' (second option) - Assistant/DoF will accept any offers that are made for the player.

'Sell or release' (third option) - Assistant/DoF will try to sell the player for any price, but will negotiate a mutual termination of the player's contract if unsuccessful.

Maybe the options you chose were the wrong ones for you.

Hope that helps.

I've never use the unwanted list. Why not just take them off the unwanted list? Just transfer list your players, set squad status to "not needed" & offer to clubs?

It could be that even though within team settings you control everything - putting them on the unwanted list over rides that and allows your AI staff to take over.

Try taking them off the unwantedlist and see what happens.
