kevgaleuk Posted August 9, 2016 Share Posted August 9, 2016 When the new season rolls around can there be a little more control over when friendlies you are either obliged to play (affiliated clubs) or likely to play get scheduled. Teams build up in terms of strength of opposition but more often than not the tiny, lower league club you have a local affiliation with is a friendly the week before the season when it would be one of the earliest because of its lack of importance to the bigger club... I would assume a simple addition such as a message identifying what friendlies have to be scheduled and your calendar (just like the normal arranging of friendlies) would work Also - when arranging your schedule can those teams that will have league/european commitments on the days you suggest reject (/ not be available to chose) your offer for that reason - rather than they get accepted and then cancelled because they suddenly have a fixture that would have been known about (at least by date if not opposition) at the time of booking...
