dngrs
Say you are Porto and you want to sign Rui Patricio of Sporting. Fans dont like this rumour about a rival star.
Cougar2010
The confidence bar for the signing of that particular player will be low but how much effect that has on the overall transfer confidence will depend on how many other purchases & sales you make. It only has a minor effect on overall confidence and if the player does well then the fans happiness in the player will increase as well.
Guest
It has a very minor impact, unless you're failing in other areas having the fans disagree with transfers wil not see you lose your job or have less funds available for transfer in the future, overall it's a rather benign feature. Earnie is God!
Agreed. It's not anywhere near as important as irl. Very few players irl would move from Man U to Liverpool, or vice versa, yet in FM the fans would voice their disapproval but that would soon be forgotten. Guest
Some players will at least decline a move to a rival club although thankfully for those who like to manage in Italy it's not as powerful a factor as it used to be.
