How do I make new nations in FM16?

I am looking to make Greenland and other nations how do i do this

ou cannot create a new nation, but you can overwrite the Nations that are not in use, (CIS, Czechoslovakia, Pre-Ireland etc...) to do this go to;

- C:\Program File (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Football Manager 2016 Editor\data\format\database

- Open the Folder called "Nation.xml" (if given the option open with Notepad)

- Scroll down to <Continent>

- Then change the line <boolean id="is_read_only" value="true" to <boolean id="is_read_only" value="false"  and hit save.

Now when you open the Editor search for one of the Inactive nations and now assign them a Continent (Falklands - South America, Jersey - Europe etc...) and now you can create Leagues, Clubs, Structure etc...

 

But, if you are not too sure on using the Editor someone has been working on a Greenland File already (see thread)
