Craigus89
In the first window with West Brom I have Sandro on loan whose loan contract includes a £200K per month fee. His future fee is £4m and I definitely want him. My question is has that fee already been accounted for in my finances for the year? If I wait till the next summer window I'll be paying out an extra £2.4m in loan fees. Will this saving be reflected, i.e does it actually come out monthly or is it accounted for as a lump sum? The extra complication is that he has sustained a ligament injury putting him out for 7-9 months, so I kind of want to wait and see if his stats drop much when he has recovered, though I can't see that being significant... Thanks.
Cougar2010
In terms of the bank account the loan fee of £200k per month will come out of the bank each month. If you choose to purchase him then £4m will also come out of the bank account. In terms of budget the loan fee will be taken into account but I would expect the £4m to come out of any current/future budget.
Craigus89
Thanks, that's as I thought. I may as well buy him now as the funds are there and it would save me 2.4mil in total through the season.
eriktous
I don't think it will save you anything. If you decide to buy him, the transfer will occur after the loan contract has finished. It's a future fee, remember, so you might as well wait.
cris182
Yea you would still pay the loan fee as you are cancelling the loan deal, So the loaning club will still receive that i am sure
