Joethe147
With FM, achievements that should be recognised as being at least favoured personnel with your club, such as rising through the leagues, isn't quite recognised as it should be. My own example being on 12 when I took Basingstoke from the Conference South to the Championship. Not to the level of getting to and winning the Champions League like many others but definitely the most proud I've been on an FM game. Yet I only eveer got to be just favoured personnel, and even that not often. And how do promotions when you don't win the affect your reputation? I've searched for threads discussing both of these things and seems that it maybe doesn't change as it should. Would be interesting if anyone from SI said your thoughts on this. gunner86
I think it's widely recognised that promotion without winning the league does not give the reputation boost it should. There are several other things that should affect it, and in my opinion it should be tied as much to how much you over/underachieve against expectations and media predictions as it is purely to trophies.
