fmfan74
I seriously wish some long long long long long press discussions cease to ever exist in this game. A chain rolling Q&A chit chatt not stopping. Come on please reduce them for FM17, we are not running for presidency in america. Or at the very least you can give players options to have press conferences and other crap chit chats turned off. Seriously is it that hard.
Administrators Neil Brock Posted September 20, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 20, 2016 You have always been able to ask the assistant to take press conferences, likewise you can storm out of a press conference if you no longer wish to answer questions. Likewise if you wanted to, there's nothing to stop you clicking [No comment] for every answer.

fmfan74
Handles Press Conferences: Assistant already given that task Handles Tunnel Interviews: Assistant already given that task If there are more options than the above then help me in that direction. If not then i am still battered with lip service.
forameuss
Maybe go burn down Fleet Street? Expecting a game which strives itself on realism to drop one of the major parts of modern football...well, you may as well ask them to add a second ball. Plus, as others have said it's easy enough to completely avoid these. Very easy actually.
Administrators Neil Brock Posted September 20, 2016 Administrators Share Posted September 20, 2016 Sounds like you would probably be better suited to FMT as a lot of the strands of management you don't sound very interested in. In FMT there's a lot less interaction with your players and the media.
HUNT3R
Yeah, FMT has very little in the way of conferences and the little there is, is usually a 1 answer thing.
fmfan74
Does FM Touch require you to get a full set of staff to work on your players training or is it maxed like previous years ago not requiring much intervention from staff for training ? Training in FMT is much more automated, although you can still do hands-on if you want. For example, I don't think you can assign tutors (happens automatically). Squad training is an all-or-nothing affair - either you do everything, or leave it to your AM. But you can assign individual training for positions, and PPMs. Or you can simply use a player in a new position/role and the AM will start appropriate training. Staff-wise you only have five positions (all filled automatically but they can be fired and replaced): AM, HoYD, Head Physio, Director of Football, and Chief Scout. As Hunter said, press interaction is limited to one or two questions per week. Most of them are irritating but you can (if you want) simply skip them. My real beef with press interaction is the way the lying scumbags twist your every word to make a story. But I suppose that's just more realism . Preveza
But when you assign the pressers to the assman, your media reputation takes a massive decline
fmfan74
One thing i forgot to ask is if you have a really bad reputation with the press does that affect your success rate getting a new job at a big club or anyone else ?. If i just ignore all press interviews what else does this affect ?. Will it affect my teams reputation if i ignore all press interviews etc etc etc... All that happens is that bigger teams' boards will ask you about it in the initial interview. I often say I will improve it, then attend PCs until I have fulfilled my promise. But of course, if you have enough of a reputation, you can decide to not make that promise.
