For the experts, Team Instructions, same instructions but different

Recommended Posts

Hi, still struggling, so I thought I would try one of the tactics on the forum 'Liverpool Possession Tactic with a Very Attacking intent! Ultimate Doom!'

In the post he explains to download the tactic rather than copying, so I downloaded the tactic and out of curiosity I decided to copy to see the difference and there is, basically if you copy the team instructions the passing bar is shorter than the downloaded tactic, meaning the downloaded tactic short passing is closer to the mixed passing bar? So basically he has a different variation of the same team instructions and the same tactic, so the question is, how is this possible?

Even if you save the team instructions preset and load on the newly created tactic, the passing bar isn't the same. According to the creator it makes a  difference, so I would like to know how this is achieved?

I've done the same sort of thing, the order I clicking higher line / closing down sometimes stop me increasing the other.  I'm not sure if it allows you to work outside of the expected settings or if its just a display issue.  If you check the players individual instructions are they different?

Not really a tactical issue, its a bug.

Thanks for the feedback, You could be right perhaps a couple of players are set to mixed. I will check later. If not though it would be nice to have it confirmed if its a bug because like you say, is the tactic working outside of the expected settings

It's just a known UI glitch.

As summat says, sometimes if you change things in a different order the "look" can be slightly different.  However, using exactly the same settings should give you exactly the same results on the pitch.

Thanks for clearing that up Herne
