1. We should see manager rivalries conducted better in the press. Many premier manager rivalries that have been great to watch played out in dugouts and press conferences

2. More press news regarding say top 6 of table matches toward 2nd half of season, 6 pointers, asking if win or draw is enough

3. More press analysis of goals scored away / goals scored at home and mentioned in press convos

4. Managers rating for international success / experience etc...why do England Manager'[s always fail at tournaments

5. Wenger needs to be rated as a potential English Manager...would do well in my opinion. As an example though speculation linking him in the press etc could be simulated in FM for some top managers

6. Weather impacting lower league pitches, maybe even a rare match called off half-way through

7. Players speaking about fellow team players form when positive

8. Team response to poor runs, poor away form etc in press, from some of the players with high leadership etc

Overall I'm afraid feel disappointed with this year's release. Having played since the first on the Amiga I think this release I feel the least enthused about. We have been led to believe a bi annual cycle of minimal ME one year with UI / interaction changes elsewhere and then vice versa the next year but I'm not really sure which it is this year. The SI update of changes seem minimal and I'm wondering what are they key changes for this year. Press releases seem sparse of info only

I agree entirely with this, very good post

 

I have been less and less enthused about FM releases over the past 2-3 years. Nothing much gets added in terms of me enjoying the game. Ok, we get 1,000 new features every year, but for me, personally, they are purely cosmetic, and do not improve the game enough. 

 

Im hoping FM17 takes a huge leap forward, especially with interactions and ME
