Training

Now, i don't know how hard this would be to implement...or if it would be possible at all. BUT, i thought it would be cool if you could set up your own training drills and actually watch as the players train. The different things that you add to the training session would help the players in different areas so you could manually control what your players are improving in . I just thought this would be quite a cool idea......any thoughts?

Introducing alternate ways to encourage improvements out of players is good. You'd have to think about it in a way that...

A) wouldn't get boring really quick. A lot of players would have to want it as a feature because it sounds big. If its too much work to have to constantly look at doing it to make any improvement then it'll likely get used as a gimmick and dropped quickly or just overlooked completely.

B) is integrated in that it ensures you can still get the same results using the current system, so that people aren't penalised for not wanting to take that route.

From what I remember I believe the Eidos version of Championship Manager had this when it came out (correct me if Im wrong) - it was great at first but then became boring and a feature that you never touched as the animations where of the players running around doing drills to improve them

You could select the drills yeah.  It was very limited in that certain drills impacted certain stats but it was pants, and you couldn't 'see' anything.
