Statsarefacts
As a more mature gentleman who takes great pride in being a very careful 'Micro Manager' I have made the most basic of errors that I fear will influence my future FM17 Career. Despite the Beta release being out a while now such is my eye for detail on staff recruirtment and learning all about my new squad that I have only just got to my first Press Conference and was more than a little taken back by a late question about "being only 22 do you think you are a little young for your first job in Management". Is there any way to correct this most elementary mistake as I am 'Old School' and have never or will never have an editor?
Matt ex SEGA
I fear your only option here is starting a new save - as far as I'm aware there's no way for you to amend that, unfortunately.
m@rk
it won't help one little bit, but I did the exact same thing, i didnt spend as much time as you may have done in sorting squad, staff, tactical set ups and the lot, but was a fair bit of time. I think I missed the date of birth thing as I was too excited using the facegen manager avatar!
demodave
Well depending how far in you are on your save. You could bodge it a bit and retire your manager and create a new one and join back up with the club you are with.

Historically, some of the early questions in press conferences have been on trivia. I remember when they allowed managers to be female that an opening question was about how you feel being a woman manager (not sure if that's the case now). But after that, I don't think it came up again or had an influence on the game. My suspicion is that the question on age is in the same category i.e. once you've got past the trivia question, doesn't matter in terms of the game world. Thank You Demodave for your perfect solution I did as you advised and rejoined the Club as a 'new Manager' with the only added change being my Christian name is now Pepe. To correct my own post (above), I was mistaken. If you start as a female manager you do still get asked about being a woman manager, and sexism in football.
