[SUGGESTION] Change tie color during save to reflect new club colors

I really hope this is already possible and I'm just missing it, or perhaps this is coming in the full version out next month, but we really need to be able to change our tie color during a save to reflect changes in employment. I know this seems silly and small (because it is), but you implemented the feature allowing us to pick a color, so now it's excitedly on our minds, and surely those of us not bound solely to one-club saves need to be able to update it as we go along! Say I started a hypothetical save as Manchester United; I couldn't keep wearing red if I switched allegiance to Manchester City the next year! Because of my fear of a similarly awkward turn of events in my own career I find myself wanting to just stick to simple black from the start, which certainly defeats the purpose of such a surprisingly flavorful little update in the game. Not to get carried away, but in the future there could even be an option to always have our current employer's crest appear on our suit.

Agreed - I complain about something so insignificant and trivial in a video game with full self-awareness

I thought of this as well and am glad to see I'm not the only one. I'd really like this to be added to the game! Either for us to be able to change the color ourselves, or for it to automatically change color (and pattern?) when switching to a different club.

Agreed! I hope it's just a matter of it being left out of the beta and it will appear in the full version.

I think you mean 'significantly important' :p

In all seriousness, this would be a genuinely good (and I imagine not-too-difficult to implement) feature.

I was a bit saddened to zoom in on the technical areas in my first match to see my conservatively black-tied self squaring off against a manager with a beautiful red one that matched his players haha

I just had to go without a tie at all. Can you imagine being made Sunderland manager and turning up to a match in your finest Newcastle United livery.

Come to that, can you imagine being made Sunderland manager full stop?

Haha I cannot. The black tie is a safe neutral for me / the Italian leagues, and managing Parma it's actually not unlike our home kits.

I'm reluctant to sound too much like I want FM to be Barbie dress-up, but during a quiet moment at work today I was thinking the following.

As well as your default outfit, it would be nice to set outfits for different climates. E.g. Wear a suit by default, but a big winter jacket (that you've chosen), when it is heavy rain, snow, sleet or 0 degrees and below. This means my manager that starts of in the National North doesn't look mental in a light suit in winter, nor equally so in a Winter jacket when managing barcelona 20 years later.

I also imagined some kind of system where you could set outfits by match rep - e.g. tracksuit in your weekly league two match but then a suit in your once-in-a-lifetime FA cup semi. I then figured this might be easier done by change-at-any-time outift system though, as well as wondering if I even deserve to be allowed to play FM

All good ideas!

I will not rest until our avatars can do this.
