Nazdroid3000
I use 2 main tactics, each requires different opposition instructions. So each time I play a match with the other tactic I have to redo the instructions again which is quite annoying as one of the tactics uses a lot of instructions. Do you know if there's a way I can save opposition instructions? Whilst were' on the submit of opposition instructions, what kind do you use? and what ones do you find useful and why? RTHerringbone
But that relies on you oposition always using the same system? Imagine you have a 4-2-3-1 and one week you face a 5-3-2 and the next week it's a narrow 4-4-2 diamond. Surely you wouldn't use the same OIs? What if one week you played a team with a creative but weak AMC, and the next week you faced a side with a lightning fast right winger? Different opponents need different game plans. It's mostly about 'closing down' I'm using a very pressing tactic as one of them, so I have most positions set to close down, no matter what team they are. That's why individual player OIs exist: to overrule the position-based OIs for specific players. This is the thing I dislike most about FM. Every time you change tactics, or even mindsets (e.g. from a high press to a patient counter-attack), you have to go and manually change every. single. opposition. instruction. They should 100% be saved with each tactic, not across the whole lot.
Nazdroid3000
The other tactic requires minimal opposition instructions, so would this work? Set up the main tactic opposition instructions When playing a game with the other tactic (that doesn't require opp instructions) start the game, just before team talk go to opposition instructions and click 'clear' Set any instructions I want and play the match After the match, when back on the home screen, the opposition instructions should be back to normal right? Yeah that should work. Doesn't help much if you want to change to the instruction-heavy tactic during a match though.
Swell86
I would like a save option for this area too. I manage 2 teams. and I use the same tactics for each. It's a real pain to have to make endless clicks to set up the opposition instructions multiple times. We have options to save every other aspect of our tactics except this area. darkfng
Clear all of the opposition instructions in your tactics. Go to the next match. Before the next match add in all the opposition instructions for Tactic A, save that tactic. Then load Tactic B and add in all the opposition instructions and save that tactic. I was doing a similar thing with marking specific players. I have my tactic S1 and then save different versions depending on the oppositions formation. So I end end with a list of saved tactics like S1v442, S1v4321, S1v433 Narrow, S1v4123 DM WIDE etc. This is to get my AMR and AML marking the correct opposition player, I assume this would work with all opposition instructions as long as you do not have any set in your overall set up. GR Choke
so how do you save your OI for every match?
