Bashy94
Hi all, looking at starting a game possibly today but with the full game to be released Friday is it worth waiting till then? Will there be much difference to the beta version?
robertobaggio15
Start. I'd imagine after the big update yesterday changes will be pretty minimal on Friday. The game is in very good shape.
gibbo11
I'd be the opposite - we don't know what changes will be implemented on/around Friday nor what changes went in during yesterday's update. It's only a few more days so I'm sure it won't hurt but always best to have the most up to date and relevant update to start a long term save. Bashy94
Well that's one a piece guys, any more tips?
GriffiN94
Why are you thinking about waiting till release day? The only difference will be any database changes , and they've just updated the database in the newest patch. I have a save I made as soon as the beta was released and I'll be playing that all year through.

Wasn't too sure if there would be any minor bugs that would be tweaked ready for when the full game is released that was all. There will undoubtedly by slight changes but will this incorporate itself into my saved game or would you have to start a new save to get these? westy8chimp
Personally I wait ... Beta is for testing. If you read through the forums so many complaints about number of goals etc and the way some positions work in the ME... I've got 4 inside forwards in my Beta save and no wingers... if in the update for real game, for whatever reason, they decide to change the action of inside forwards/wingers.. then I'm screwed. i.e. FM16 Beta was fine with 41221 (wide) ... but after the update to real game.. they seriously overpowered wing backs ... so 5-3-2 wbs was lethal [not to mention it spoiled FM16 completely as you could basically win any league with any team playing 532... Newcastle first season Haidara 53 assists in 32 games and I won the prem lg).
vasilli07
I don't think there will be too many changes from now till Friday. Afterall, they just release a big patch yesterday. Unless there is some sort of game breaking bug(like you can't even start your FM), it's unlikely the ME will change in these few days time.

Database changes require a new save, anything else will apply to your current save. So if you start a save tonight and on friday they make loads of updates / patches to the ME you will get those. puffascruffowitz
I've played one full season and I am very happy with the current build. It seems very well balanced. Just start a save now IMO
