moves into channels - needs graphic to explain its meaning

On the screen where you can set players individual movements, closing down, crossing regularity, etc....

there is an option to have the player move into channels.

But I can never understand if this means they move into the gaps between defensive line and midfield line, or if its the gap between central defender and full back?

A graphic that pops up when you select this option would be helpful in this screen, becuase the text description is ambiguous (it talkes of horizontal and vertical lines, but a horizontal line can be theorectically from sideline to sideline, or it can also be from the top of my video screen to the bottom of the screen (ie vertical) when i watch a match. So which is it?!)

should be the gap between centre back and full back, though I agree with you that a graphic explanation of instructions (not only for 'moves into channels') would be a nice feature.

it remembers the old International Super Star Soccer, it had graphic explanation for some tactics and positions

It's about moving from the centre into the space between full back and centre back, the area across the width of pitch that's level with the corner of the penalty area. For midfielders it's the same idea just deeper. Easiest way to learn what an instruction does is watch a player that has it. Takes one match to learn it, but people are too lazy and expect everything to be spelled out for them.
