MLS 2017 SuperDraft - does it work in the final?

Hi there

 

Before starting a new MLS save today I wondered if anybody has had a chance to look into this game-breaking issue reported in the BETA bugs thread?

 

I presume people at SI have been able to play a multi-year save successfully in the MLS, where the introduction (drafting, being added to schedule, etc..) of the two expansion teams operations properly?

 

Part of the issue it appears, for my save referenced above, was that it seemed like the expansion teams just may have never got promoted to the MLS in 2017.  They were not present in the SuperDraft in Jan 2017 as far as I can tell, which could very well have caused the drafting glitches I experienced. 

 

I'd love to know of SI's experience with this prior to committing a couple hundred hours to a new MLS save.  Thanks!

It looks like something has gone wrong in this specific save because it's not something we've seen before. Do you have a save from before December 26th by any chance? If so could you post here; https://community.sigames.com/topic/382872-usa-official-league-specific-issues/?page=2
