Brexit Changes

Recommended Posts

If I make editor changes to the league, for example, all clubs in England must play a minimum of 5 home grown players from their youth academies, will future Brexit outcomes over-ride these changes? Example: FM save opt for soft Brexit, will this void my home grown changes?

How can FM simulate Brexit when the UK Government itself hasn't a clue what will happen? Are we gonna have a UKIP ideology of totally out  or a safe Brexit? Nobody knows what out of thousands of possible scenarios will happen. I always thought the current edition of FM was to feature what currently is happening & what is known will happen such as a World cup or teams entering the MLS, with alterations included as they occur within the times FM gets updated? League rule changes or the Rules in Football at that time are only added. The freedom of movement within the EU could include employment law in regards to transfers we don't know what they'll be in 2018/19 or 2020. It'll be a few FM's before we know for sure.

Will it simulate Semi-pro players from the EU not wanting or able to play at lower league clubs due to issues with their regular employment? FM doesn't factor in outside consequences of part-time players in terms of work commitments ? How will it simulate the border between the Republic Of Ireland and the UK, the UK and EU will simulating FM to 2025 see immigration reflected in the regens? Will it factor in the fall or rise of a militant group in a region displacing refugees ?. Shouldn't SI wait until at least FM 18 before including any of it?  Are there going to be changes on what might happen between Russia & the Ukraine? Donald Trump winning election? Syria? Should politics be left out until they become law?
