Per Annum
As I understand it, although I could be wrong, a player has to be subbed on before the 75th minute in order to get a match rating and therefore to get any developmental benefit from playing. I'd like to see this changed to just a simple pro rata basis. If they play 1 minute they get 1/90th the value of if they'd played the whole game. The current system, assuming I have been correctly informed, encourages me to bring on 3 youth players in the 70th min or so, and if I accidentally fail to pause the match before the 75th minute then just not to bother at all. This feels too arbitrary and a pro-rate basis would make it exactly as beneficial to bring them on as it should be at that point in the game. Which would be more realistic. Sorry if I'm just wrong about how it all works though.
qaz
I wasn't aware of this rule. Wish SI would do a better job explaining the game mechanics

Wish SI would do a better job explaining the game mechanics Just bear in mind that, as I said numerous times in my post, I'm not 100% sure I'm right. It is what I've read though and seems matched by what I see in-game.
