I've always put my assistant on handling youth contracts, then scouted like every youngster at the good clubs and bid on the best ones. Then I would go in and change the contract, offering them more so they would join. But it seems like they changed it, I can't change a contract after my assistant made the offer. Which is weird, I gotta say. I go in to "change contract" or whatever it's called but it's all grey and untouchable. And when I bid on a youngster WITHOUT my assistant doing the negotiations they often just refuse to even speak to me. Did they change it or is there a way round it?
