drajen Posted November 10, 2016 Share Posted November 10, 2016 I'm playing minor league and have one Japanese scout in my stuff with 100% knowledge of Japan. But when I go to scouting-> players within scouting and knowledge range, then I have no Japanese players, except of 10-15 very expensive Japan National players. The scouting range is only my country, cause the board cant allow it to scout Asia, but doesn't my scout knowledge of Japan worth anything at all? To give you a better example, if you had a scout with 100% knowledge of Russia, you would see far more options in the Russian Domestic Leagues that previous, but I suppose it's dependent on how big the database is you have loaded. It means only that your scout has an excellent knowlege of that country and thus will be very effective if you send him there. As you said yourself, you can't send him there, because of your limited scouting range, so obviously, there are no Japanese players in your database, because you haven't discovered any. Your scout probably knows the national team, but he hasn't been active scouting in the country to recommend you anybody else. Besides, as @c.ronaldo7 said, there is also the matter of the database (are Japanese players loaded?) and in this special case, the licence. But the "100%" does not mean you know all players in this country. It's an indicator of how effective your scout is there. Send a scout with 0% to a country, he will still find a few players, but much less. But, at the same time, he will slowly build up his knowledge to 10%, 20% and so on.
