keyur87 Posted November 12, 2016 Share Posted November 12, 2016 Hi i recently bought a mac pro 2015, doesnt have a cd drive, bought the new FM17 and comes with a disk, can i download the game and put the activation code in? or do i need to get a external cd drive to install the game? and i need to have the cd drive plugged in at all times to play the game also? You can activate the game directly in steam, just by "adding new game" and putting in the activation code. There is no need for a cd drive. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
Lindhoffen Posted November 13, 2016 Share Posted November 13, 2016 Kubi's right, mate. No need to faff about with a CD drive anymore. Put that code into Steam and activate the product that way. It'll even download and install this beauty right onto your machine and all you need to do is make sure the missus is out for the year and the cupboard is stocked. Let the good times roll, innit!
