Cleon
You should schedule as many friendlies as you can fit in during the training camp as the one major benefit it provides is tactical familiarity, match fitness etc all learn faster than they would without a training camp. No save it for another player.
1967
How do you arrange a training camp? What CapaJr suggests sounds more like a tour do they have the same benefits?
TheHuss
My board, in its infinite wisdom, scheduled a training camp less than a month after the end of the season. My players were all too exhausted to play, and many are angry that preseason was scheduled to start too early. I rested them all through the camp but I'm feeling a knock on effect in terms of fitness, cohesion and moral at the beginning of the new season. Do you guys think training camps are working correctly, and do you have any tips to deal with that type of board behaviour?
