ManUtd1
2036 European Championships; Scotland/Wales Well, this was disappointing. I had high hopes that someone truly exciting would make it to the final, or at a minimum that the manager of an eligible nation would get canned. Nope. At least, not yet. France took home the title, while the Welsh and Swiss each made a run. All told, though, it was pretty run-of-the-mill. sherwinriga
Claudio Ranieri should have given the credit for winning his first championship in Premier League as well as to the FA Cup twice. Meanwhile, I love to see FC Barcelona getting multiple championships at the same time. How's they are doing too with their good players and accolades? ManUtd1
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you. AS Saint-Étienne December 2036 Mini-Update For ****'s sake, gentlemen. Don't ruin this. Don't you ****ing dare. Top of Ligue 1, and scraping through when we needed it in the Champions League. We **** the bed against Chelsea, twice. And tried to blow it against Valencia at home. But, nevertheless, we're through and drew the best possible opponent for the knockout rounds -- Ajax. Nothing else matters, except those 180 minutes. The Dutch aren't anything to be afraid of. Provided we keep our heads on straight. Maybe it's the majesty of Les Verts in full flight this year. Maybe it's the chronic lack of sleep. Or the 15 Red Bulls I've shotgunned this morning. But, we're coming together. On the verge of something truly special. And a kind draw is all we needed. That, and Hot Tub Thursdays. Ohhhh, yeah. Flying high in the League, with only a few blips to speak of. When we're on, we're on. Yes, Monaco has been that bad. Simon Kjaer was axed a few weeks ago. In Europe, we genuinely scraped by. We went into the sixth group match 1 point behind Chelsea, and 1 clear of Valencia (after getting FM'd by Chelsea at home and collapsing in London). We more than deserved the 2-2 draw, but I'll be damned if we didn't make it hard on ourselves. Ironically, we then drew the weakest top seed in the knockout rounds. Akkarin
When I came looking at this thread a few days back (I don't know what kind of speed-reading the guy a few pages ago has done; 4 hours!), I was hoping for an interesting career - I mean someone still going after 30+ pages must be doing something right, right?
