ManUtd1
Man City go through a takeover by consortium...in 2045. Remember Civiero, who came through at Fiorentina? He's definitely set the world on fire, as expected when he first came through: 111 goals in 118 appearances for Italy?! He retired at age 31, FFS. 5 Champions League titles (2 at Fiorentina, 3 at City)?! 8 Serie A titles, 6 Premier League titles?! Legend.

ManUtd1
A massive win over Dinamo away coupled with a draw between Leeds and Stade de Reims means that we'll go into the final Group match (at home, against Leeds) in control of our own destiny. ManUtd1
Now I've got that feeling once again, I can't explain you would not understand Eintracht Frankfurt / Greece World Cup Draw, December 2045 We're in Pot 1. The big question is who we'll draw from Pot 4, which is full of solid European sides. It's a great draw through the 2nd and 3rd Pots, with Saudi Arabia and Ghana...then we France. Some would say that's a bad draw. I say it's a chance to eliminate them before the knockout rounds even begin.
ManUtd1
Ludwig, hold my beer. Eintracht Frankfurt / Greece December 2045 Mini-Update Rollin' rollin' rollin', though the streams are swollen, keep them doggies rollin', rawhide! We've hit the December break, and find ourselves with only one loss in competitive play -- away to Gloobeeburdler in the Bundesliga. The past few weeks saw two massive 2-nil wins at the Commerzbank -- over Dortmund in the Bundesliga, and then over Leeds to seal not only our passage to the Champions League knockout rounds, but to claim victory in our Group. We were clinical and up to the task. Fortunately, we missed Madrid and Manchester United in the draw...and will face off against Porto, the side that eliminated us in the Europa League last year. Perfect. 2046 is shaping up to be a good year. Edited April 24, 2017 by ManUtd1

I do feel like we're on a roll, with both Frankfurt and Greece. There will be some turnover this coming summer at the club -- moving a few players on to make room for really talented youth in my U19s. Sfakianakis is a great example -- he's not going to break into my first XI, and needs to be starting at this stage of his career. 6 hours ago, Keano16 said: What a ratio for Civiero! As the tears stream down Nelson's face, a gentle hand reaches down, pulling him to his feet. Nelson is bewildered. "David...Moyes...? What...? How...?" The years have not been kind to Nelson's hero, a Droylsden legend. His craggy face glistens, his eyes clouded with cataracts. "Be a good lad, Nelson. Turn off the shower." "Yes, gaffer," mutters Nelson, as he tries to regain his composure, fumbling for the handle. "Find a towel, too, will you?" The fog of sadness receding, Nelson reaches for a towel. He's dreamed of just such a moment for years. But never did he think he'd meet his hero while weeping in the shower. "Gaffer, I'm...I'm confused," sputters Nelson. But Moyes interrupts, handing him a bottle of lotion. "Shh...shh. It's ok. Everything will be alright. Papa Moyesy is here." A calmness comes over Nelson. "That's right," purrs Moyes. "It's times like these when you must ask yourself, What Would Jagielka Do?" FADE OUT

ManUtd1
Ludwig, hold my beer. Eintracht Frankfurt / Greece March 2046 Mini-Update To say that this has been a good start to the year would be an understatement. 11 matches in all competitions. 2 losses (both in the Bundesliga). No draws. Last year's Europa League loss to Porto? Avenged. Through to the Champions League quarterfinals against Sporting. With a semifinal match against Augsburg in the DFB-Pokal. 2nd in the league. We're flying high, with every reason to be optimistic. Those back-to-back losses seem to have been nothing more than a blip. If so, it's going to be an incredible end to the season. With the Greeks, we had a one-off friendly against the United States. The Americans sat back in a defensive 541, hardly even attempting to play. They're satisfied with a 0-0 draw. I'm not.

Bundesliga matches against Bayern and Leipzig, with the latter sandwiched between the Champions League quarterfinal matches against Sporting. We hold our nerve. Attila screeching at the masses and circling ominously, occasionally dive-bombing the Sporting players cowered under their jackets. They eventually sought refuge in the tunnel. Never did they suspect that Attila knows the bowels of the Commerzbank like the back of his claw, and would gleefully follow them inside. Sure, we'll likely get fined by UEFA for his antics. ManUtd1
Ludwig, hold my beer. Eintracht Frankfurt / Greece May 2046 Mini-Update Gutted. There's no other word for it. A triumphant 2-nil win at the Commerzbank, followed by disaster at the San Siro. Through 50 minutes, all was level, but their 2nd goal wreaked havoc. From that point out, Milan could scent blood in the water. When they struck their 3rd, we had to be aggressive and were beat at our own game, on the counter. Regardless, we have nothing to be ashamed of. A Champions League semifinal is a massive achievement and beyond what was expected of us. It doesn't hurt that we had a very favorable draw in the knockout rounds, but those are the breaks. More to the point, we are still in with a shout for 2 trophies -- the Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal. We need to keep our chins up and press on. Glory awaits. And Europe had best fear us in the Champions League next year. 2 points clear in the Bundesliga. A game in hand. Stuttgart, Koln and Wolfsburg to play, with the last 2 matches away from home. Edited April 26, 2017 by ManUtd1
