ManUtd1
Champions League Final, June 2065 Wembley Stadium Time for revenge. Last year, in the quarterfinals, we battled hard against this West Ham side but ultimately fell short due in no small part to my own mistake. I pushed too hard. Before we were truly ready. Not tonight. We'll start in PM Foquiado, to counter their impressive attack. Keep it tight at the back, hit them in transition. Let's do it, lads. 90 minutes from immortality. Tweet, tweet! ManUtd1
What a night, Gar. The lights. The noise. The...beans? Can anyone tell me why the Partizan supporters are chanting about tasting the bean? Is that a euphemism for something? Gar? Gary?! Are you already passed...you know what, nevermind. 12th minute...Vikander's men launch forward at pace...Rodriguez sends Frimpong into the box...Saved! Quesada looking sharp early on!!! And he had to be!
ManUtd1
Every time a West Ham player approaches the sideline or a corner, he's being pelted with licorice jelly beans... Suffice to say the Partizan support are in rare form, jumping about in unison, causing the entire end to shake! Flares have been snuck in, there's even a monkey cavorting about. This is surreal! 25th minute...throw in for Partizan on the left-hand side. Some beautiful interplay ... Rodriguez through, with an inch of space in the box, having split the defenders ... ManUtd1
GOAL FOR PARTIZAN!!! RODRIGUEZ!!! THE PARAGUAYAN GOLDEN GOD, LONG-RUMORED TO BE OFF TO ANDERLECHT, HAS SCORED THE BIGGEST GOAL OF HIS CAREER!!! AND THERE GO THE FLARES! THE PARTIZAN SUPPORT ERUPT AS, IN RESPONSE TO THE EXHORTATION THAT HE "TASTE THE BEAN," THE CHEEKY PARAGUAYAN PICKS ONE UP OFF THE GROUND, AND POPS IT IN HIS MOUTH! IT'S PANDEMONIUM HERE AT WEMBLEY!!! THE PARTIZAN SUPPORT CANNOT GET ENOUGH!!!
ManUtd1
40th minute...Partizan holding firm. You're missing a solid match here, Gary. Wake up, you filthy sod! Back and forth...Partizan carelessly lose possession in midfield, only to regain and launch forward at pace...Frimpong...finding Bajcetic...hits Rodriguez who shapes to hit it first time...Quesada holds...poor finish from Rodriguez there. ManUtd1
Halftime any moment now. Gary appears to still be breathing. To be fair, he drank several skins full of that Serbian plum brandy...that ***** will put hair on your chest. Goal kick for Partizan, this has to be the half. Long from Tsuruta...brought down, with crunching tackles going both ways...somehow, Partizan break from from a rugby-esque scrum...Belhadi finds Frimpong who turns and HITS RODRIGUEZ IN STRIDE...THE FLAG STAYS DOWN... ManUtd1
OFF THE BAR!!! SO CLOSE TO A CRITICAL 2ND GOAL FOR PARTIZAN!!! WEST HAM RATTLED, BUT HANGING ON!!! ManUtd1
45 minutes to play lads. We've taken one of our chances, and denied them a genuine look at goal. We need another. We cannot blink. No mistakes. West Ham come out in a 424. Aggressive. Yet still we hold firm. An hour gone. The support in full voice, shaking the rafters and waking the neighbors. Win or lose, they've struck fear in the hearts of so-called English "hard men."
ManUtd1
A chance to counter in the 63rd...Sasa clears to Frimpong, who hits Rodriguez…plays Belhadi…runs are being made…centers to Terzic who plays Rodriguez in…IS THIS THEIR MOMENT!?!?
ManUtd1
NO!!! WHAT A SAVE FROM QUESADA!!! IT SHOULD BE 2-NIL, GARY!!! NO ONE CAN SAY THAT PARTIZAN HAVEN'T HAD THEIR CHANCES TO GRAB THIS MATCH BY THE SCRUFF OF THE NECK! CAN WEST HAM GET A FOOTHOLD BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE?!?
ManUtd1
20 minutes to play, and Gary is snoring like a sailor, mumbling about a woman named Becky while the Partizan supporters sing a ribald song about the West Ham manager's comely daughter. Not very gentlemanly, that. And I doubt many people are THAT flexible. Vikander making changes. Sasa, Bajcetic and Belhadi off, replaced by Kosta, Savic and Jovanovic. 78th minute, throw in for West Ham deep in the Partizan end...Partizan clear, but West Ham recycle possession, working the ball out left to Mendes...what is going on with the Partizan defense?!?! A shambles, as the ball takes flight...
ManUtd1
UROSEVIC CLEARS!!! AN IMMENSE MOMENT FROM ONE OF THE GIANTS OF PARTIZAN'S BACK LINE!!! THE BELGRADE LAD COMING UP HUGE IN THE BIGGEST MOMENT OF HIS YOUNG CAREER!!!
ManUtd1
AND PARTIZAN ARE ON THE ATTACK!!! DANGER AVERTED, CAN THEY BURY THE MATCH?!?! ManUtd1
QUESADA TIPS IT OVER THE BAR!!! WHAT A SAVE!!! THAT COULD HAVE BEEN THE MATCH!!! WILL PARTIZAN LIVE TO RUE THESE MISSED CHANCES?!? VIKANDER ON THE TOUCHLINE, SHOUTING INSTRUCTIONS, THE VERY PICTURE OF HIS FATHER!!! OH, WHAT'S THIS?!?! THE MONKEY HAS CLIMBED ONTO THE PARTIZAN GOAL AND IS THROWING BLACK JELLY BEANS AT THE WEST HAM SIDE!!! SOMEONE GET CONTROL OF THAT MONKEY!!! ManUtd1
10 minutes. 5 minutes. Good news, folks, animal control has finally caught the monk-- NO! He breaks free and scampers down the touchline to fling feces at the West Ham manager, before disappearing down the tunnel!!! The Partizan support are, if possible, even louder than before, as if they've managed to pack thousands more people into their end in the last hour! The scenes!!! The scenes here in London!!! There will be 2 minutes of stoppage time!
ManUtd1
Throw in for West Ham, deep in Partizan territory. This has to be the last chance saloon. In to Echevarria, who takes a touch and smashes an optimistic shot from an impossible angle, launching the ball into Row Zed at a blistering pace. Surely, that's the last...YES, IT IS!!! IT’S ALL OVER!!! PARTIZAN 1, WEST HAM NIL! IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN BELGRADE, AND VIKANDER’S MEN ARE CHAMPIONS OF EUROPE! HE TRULY IS HIS FATHER’S SON! AND THERE'S NO DOUBT THAT HE'LL BE TASTING THE BEAN TONIGHT!!! Edited August 20, 2017 by ManUtd1

ManUtd1
Dont cry because it came to an end, smile because it happened. FK Partizan Beograd / Colombia 2064/65 Season Review This day has been long in coming. When hired, I was a joke. A media stunt, designed to breath some life back into a struggling, once-great club. As I leave, we're at the pinnacle of Europe. 99 years after our predecessors graced the greatest stage on the continent, we returned from London as Champions of Europe. The victory parade began at the airport in Belgrade, and hasn't stopped for the past 72 hours, of which I only remember 30. 25, if I'm being honest. The time has come, though, to move on. I've accomplished all that I can here. The Chairman knows it, and has tried to treat me like a beloved son these past few weeks. I've not allowed it. I remember how poorly he treated me in those early days. How he snickered behind my back. No longer. I am my own man. I will stand on my own two feet. And maybe -- just maybe -- I'll invert that libero after all. Just to **** on his chips. Goals for 2065/66: Wrap up World Cup qualification with Colombia. Move on to the next club. Revenge for losing to West Ham in 2063/64 at the quarterfinal stage, in the best possible way -- victory in the final, their 4th loss in 5 years. That's painful And, come on, this year we had Oostende. Oostende!!! Challenge Overview
ManUtd1
The real question being, where to next? There are no eligible teams available, and the only manager who is "insecure" is Fuentes at Tottenham. I'm in no hurry to return to England. As noted before, my ideal destination is Spain. I won't be jumping at the first opportunity.

ManUtd1
Just as real events are forgotten, some that never were can be in our memories as if they happened. Colombia September 2065 Mini-Update 2 absolutely brutal draws. Solid defensively. But we need to be far more clinical in goal. The silver lining is that we're off to Russia next summer for the World Cup. Time to re-think the side, and give potential players a run. The craziest part? We're ranked 4th in the world. Somehow. No movement on the club front. I rejected an offer from Rennes, as they didn't want to let me develop youth. Although their tycoon-fueled mania ended a decade ago, they're stuck in that mentality. It wasn't the right job. For now. Edited August 20, 2017 by ManUtd1

ManUtd1
Just as real events are forgotten, some that never were can be in our memories as if they happened. Colombia October 2065 Mini-Update From 2 brutal draws in September, to 2 atrocious losses in October. Again, we were relatively solid defensively. Again, we needed to be far more clinical in goal. We need to improve. Desperately. I'd be lying if I said I was optimistic about next summer. Our chances should be far better in 2070, especially if I can get a few players trained to our system. Very disappointing.

ManUtd1
Just as real events are forgotten, some that never were can be in our memories as if they happened. Colombia December 2065 Mini-Update The World Cup draw was not particularly kind, although I'd have hoped that my father's old Assistant, Ludwig, could have been a little more generous to Los Cafeteros. Germany? Ouch. El Salvador is a straightforward tie, as we just beat them handily in a friendly match in Manizales. I'll be between ourselves and Sweden for the 2nd spot. Awkward, yeah? No real movement on the club front. I've turned down approaches from some of my father's former clubs, but that's all. Nothing has been right at this juncture. I am taking a bit of perverse pleasure in seeing Gustav struggle to mount domestic and European campaigns. Probably a good thing that I didn't take the Rennes position, as going back to Belgrade for a high-profile match this fall might have proven...interesting. Panathinaikos started the year horribly, but have bounced back and currently sit 2nd -- a mere 3 points off Olympiacos. I'd started to get excited about them, too. ManUtd1
Just as real events are forgotten, some that never were can be in our memories as if they happened. Valencia CF / Colombia March 2066 Mini-Update Patience is a virtue. At least, that's what my 2nd grade teacher used to tell me. Valencia. Top of La Liga, which isn't as impressive as it sounds given how far the league has fallen over the years. It's a tremendous place to build from. Having a Serbian ownership probably didn't hurt, either. Neither did the 93,750 all-seater Nuevo Mestalla. I'm told that my father has history here. His old fullback, Scotty Donald -- from the Fener and Scotland days -- is now with Los Che, and phoned upon hearing the news of my appointment. A genuine legend, with more than 100 caps, who stood side-by-side with my father during his final years. What a treasure. There's work to be done. I'm extremely excited about this. I've spent tons of time in Spain, and it was a "second home" to me for a long time. I've got a really strong side, so much so that I worry this will be a short stay. A few key players are shown below -- a full squad review will follow after the season.
