No job offers in 6 years after winning 3 cham league and 4 league!

Recommended Posts

Hey

Can anyone help me here and advise in fm handheld if they have been ever offered or linked with a job? I have played 6 seasons and won 3 champions league titles with genoa and 4 league titles in serie a and did not receive one job offer. Now I know you can apply for jobs that are available but not one offer? I am playing the game now since November and have never had a job offer. Anyone else having this issue?

thanks

steve

This is weird as I saw on Facebook yesterday someone getting offered a job with Liverpool after gaining promotion with Norwich then being sacked after being 20th. This made me think that it was too easy to get job offers. Maybe it is too easy when you apply but too hard if you don't? Can you confirm if you've been applying please?

What other nations do you have loaded? If you've dominated the Champions' League clubs may be put off from approaching you without you showing some interest as they'll assume you're not wanting to take a step down.

This is a real issue...

I've secured back to back promotions with Lincoln, winning the conference by a mile & getting Manager of the Year in the 1st season.

2nd season; Got promoted from League 2 via the Playoffs, having been in top 6 practically all year (was expected to battle bravely against relegation), finish Runner up in Manager of the Year.

3rd season; Finish 6th in League 1 (having been expected to battle bravely against relegation), lose in Play Off Semi-Final, won Manager of the Year.

I turn huge transfer profits every year, relying on frees & small fees (as impossible to loan), developing & selling on. I signed a young kid on a free having been released by Fulham, he scores 30+ in first season then joins Middlesbrough for £2.5m. My financial acumen attribute is 20.

I have never been approached by another club & have applied for practically every job vacancy going at a higher club but have never been considered.

Why would a higher club not be interested in me?

I appreciate Lincoln's reputation is very low but surely that just makes my achievements even more special?

If you have a save before applying for a job you think you should be considered for, we can look into why.

I think a big issue is here unless you apply you don't get offered jobs but that won't be the case in a lot of jobs in the lower league to higher - look at a lot of Burton's managers going to Championship clubs.
