this year we have qf from the group stages and you have not. cant see how you could think think that tbh

You seem to be excluding the Artmedia embarrasment, which Rangers didn't suffer in that time period.

It is pretty much equal in terms of achievements post-Seville.

its one bad season though at a time when we were in transition. im basing it on the fact that we have performed better in the CL and in the uefa cup, theres no doubting that i think

the uefa co-efficient in s**** anyway. having the same points no matter who you play. its like saying we are ranked better than liverpool this season because we have more league points than them

Yes they do, they don't count to the country co-efficient though. </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

No they don't. Points are only calculated from the group stage / first round onwards. We've got 10 points this year (win v Lyon (3), win v Stuttgart (3), draw v Barcelona (1), draws with Panathinaikos (2) and a bonus point for getting to the CL group stage.

watching SSN there and it says Scotland are now 6th in the Euro co-efficients - when the SPL started, we were 26th Thumbs Up

not sure how correct that is as I'm sure we were 9th or something last time with Turkey close to us, but sounds like a nice stat

It's indeed baws as Turkey have gone above us after Fenerbahce's win against Sevilla the other day. Assuming Sevilla win the second leg and Rangers get at least one win against Werder Bremen then we should go back above them.

As it stands at the moment we're in 11th place with Ukraine very close behind but all their teams have been papped out of Europe.

The jap is a cheating b**tard. When Celtic get into the last 5/10 of games when they are close he puts on his collapsible legs, makes it all the more funny when they have been on radio shows claiming Ref's conspiracy's of late.

League Flags coming home Ter. As long as we keep paying off the ref's and all that

It's ok for the refs to cheat in their favour icon14.gif

Naw he's no. We played Hibs on 29th December and Gretna on 16th January.

Strange game yesterday. Did well to go 3-0 up then it was like a training match thereafter as Gretna/Deucher looked dangerous from set-pieces.

Three points though even if we missed the chance to really improve our goal difference. Wee Davis also played well which was encouraging.

Couple of difficult games coming up now. Tynie is always difficult to visit and Aberdeen will raise their game as per usual on Saturday.

Latest fixture situation...

WED 27 FEB: Hearts (A) - SPL

SAT 01 MAR: Aberdeen (H) - SPL

THU 06 MAR: Werder Bremen (H) – UEFA Cup

SUN 09 MAR: Hibernian (H) – Scottish Cup Replay

THU 13 MAR: Werder Bremen (A) – UEFA Cup

SUN 16 MAR: Dundee Utd (N) – CIS Cup Final

WED 19 MAR: Free / Partick Thistle – Scottish Cup

SAT 22 MAR: Hibernian (H) - SPL

WED 26 MAR: INTERNATIONALS - Scotland v Croatia

SAT 29 MAR: Celtic (H) - SPL

WED 02 APR: Free UEFA Cup QF

SAT 05 APR: Dundee Utd (A) - SPL

WED 09 APR: Free UEFA Cup QF

SAT 12 APR: Free Scottish Cup Semi Final

Still to be scheduled: St Mirren (A) - SPL, Celtic (A) – SPL, Motherwell (A) - SPL

If we get through in the UEFA Cup and Scottish Cup then the SPL and Police are going to have some big decisions to make. It's quite possible we could have to play Celtic three times in a row AWAY if they stick with their policy of having that as the first game after the split, we meet in the Scottish Cup and they fit one of those games in after that. There's still the Motherwell game (could probably do that after the split if they are still doing well) and the St Mirren game to fit in.

They should just bite the bullet and schedule Celtic v Rangers for the last day of the season. Will never happen though unfortunately.

You're correct, for some reason I thought we'd played them in the middle of December.

Highly unlikely, unless the Scottish Cup semi is being played at Celtic Park!

Yeah, it's unlikely but if the Celtic v Rangers game is the last game before the split and the first game after the split then it could happen. I'd expect they would try and fit in at least one of our games against Motherwell or St Mirren in between that anyway.

We've still to get past Hibs/Partick and Werder Bremen anyway so lets see what happens.

Quite exciting anyway
