SpillBlood
Man, we've just a huge slump. Stats from the Blackpool, Brighton, Doncaster, Brighton and Aldershot games: Bunney is playing bloody awful, missing so many chances. No striker is in form. We've literally drew to teams having one shot on target! 1 shot on target, no CCCs, lost 2 - 1 . Bunney missed an absolute sitter. Was really bad. Hoping we can get the strikers back in form or it'll be play offs for us. Wimbeldon have also been slipping up, it's just we slipped more!
SpillBlood
It continues. Colchester equalised with the lack kick of the game thanks to a huge error from my goalkeeper. We just drew to 9 men Cambridge thanks to Brown making an awful back pass where there striker just hit in. So many silly mistakes now. This is looking bleak. And he's just dropped another clanger https://i.gyazo.com/69ba5f9d8427810325dfe2c2310cab7d.mp4
SpillBlood
We finally won! 8 League games without a win . I think we can say bye to the title.

Including 3 goals that could be goal of the season. 7 games to go including Wimbledon and Luton, maybe we can win the title?
SpillBlood
It's still a three man race. I changed the shape and we've been awesome since.
SpillBlood
I say how awesome we're playing. Next game we've lost 2 - 0 to Oldham who are 22nd. We were bloody dire. Even this popped up. Luton drew, we lost and Wimbledon lost. Still wide open. 3 games to go!
SpillBlood
Luton won 4 - 1. Wimbledon drew and are out of the title challenge. We won 2 - 1 thankfully. 5 CCC's. Bunney scored a penalty thankfully but missed everything else. Was pulling my hair out!
Northernpilgrim
Great season, would be nice to win the title, but promotion is the big prize. That's how I feel about this season in League 2 IRL for Plymouth Argyle. KUTGW mate
SpillBlood
I've no idea what just happened but we're top! It was 1 - 1 then we scored with this. https://i.gyazo.com/6f1e375b69c605dee87695f07a40f867.mp4 There goalkeeper made another mistake to let McDaid head in for us to win 3 - 1. Luton were 1 - 0 up and ended up losing 2 - 1 away at Colchester. A draw isn't enough, we have to win against Stevenage who just beat Blackpool 2 - 0. BoxToBox
Incredible stuff! Adore that wingless wonder tactic! One of my favourite shapes.
SpillBlood
Title decider Luton are at home vs 22nd Yeovil who need to win to stay up. If Forest Green win and Yeovil only get a point they'll be relegated. Salford are away at 17th Stevenage who have nothing to play for. Well I wasn't expecting this, just checked and they haven't conceded in 4 games! They're on a good run. We're second! Early goal for Luton. There's a red card! Cameron McGeehan is sent off for Luton, can Yeovil find a goal? So close! Digby long shot is saved onto the post and cleared in the 29th minute. It's half time! No good chances and Luton still lead. Forest Green lead so Yeovil are going down at this rate! There's a red card to Stevenage! 35 minutes with a man up, can we win!? It's 1 - 0 to Stevenage! Ball over the top, run down and slots in! 5 minutes to go and we go overload, can we get two goals!? Yeovil still haven't scored. 90th minute injury! Helm is injured, luckily I have a sub. Can we find any way through? Can Yeovil!? It's full time! Luton win. Yeovil go down!

SpillBlood
End of season: Brilliant season, shame about the title but that massive 8 games with no wins cost us, not the last day. His money was worth it but we're leaking it! There's gonna be pretty much a new squad next season. Most of these players won't cope in league 1. Fullbacks and strikers needed. I've never had three players with the highest average rating. Really happy with that. Ashby is like my own little Frank Lampard ^_^. I'd be happy with Ashby, Morley and Digby next year. Brown and Arutheworrey at CB aswell.
SpillBlood
3 minutes ago, BoxToBox said: Damn! Still, far more important that you got promotion. Yeah we messed it up but we lack quality upfront. When Bunney hasn't turned up we've lacked goals. He leads goals and assists!

SpillBlood
Some updates. First, a new contract! It hit July 1st and we've let alot go and this is the size of the squad . Gotta be honest. Finding players was hard and players I found I needed a second opinion on but I was lacking the scouting. Thankfully my board were like "Yeah, go check out Europe". That we did. We also have a new parent club where I've been able to loan a very good keeper in. Transfers in: Only player I've spent money on was a LB because he reminds me of my Icelandic LB from my Rotherham save. He's only 18 but he's going to play. He's being tutored and I think he'll be able to get to championship level, I'm sure. New team: Three Swedsh, two Norwegian and two Spanish thanks to the chairman letting me scout . None are "brilliant" but they're all decent. It's whether we can get them to keep there form. His last season at Almeria B His season with third tier/non league(not sure) Norweigan side Egersunds. The rest haven't played that much football so it'll be interesting to see how they react. Well, Fernandez scored 12 in 36 for Villanovense in the Spanish Second Divison B4. Just see if they're able to play in England. English players just are either not good enough, want way too much money or aren't interested. No one I'm like, oh he looks good, I'll have. It's been pretty hard to find players. Not as bad as last season but still going to be very had for us.

SpillBlood
Pre-season wasn't great but we did have alot of new players. The league though, wow we've done good! Perttamo has been amazing. Just trying to find a partner for him and I think it'll be Fernandez. The new LB has assisted 4 in 5 aswell. Reading was a close game, they scored very late and we missed some chances. Considering it was my second team I was pretty damn happy with that. I never expected to win. League has my priority. We were lucky against Charlton though with 91st minute equaliser. Sheff United game was just brilliant. If we stay like this we'll push for play offs. We do have alot of teams to face yet though! ^_^. Not arsed about the Checkatrade Trophy tbh.

SpillBlood
Been a really strong campaign so far. We're top of the league. We're still in the FA cup(for a few days until we face Arsenal) and we're still in the Checktatrade Trophy even though we nearly threw it away when Accrington scored in the 90th minute and neither of us could score pens! And look who's top of the average rating again! Teams playing well together now. Strikers can be very hit or miss. Bunney went on a streak then faded out. I threatened to list Hummervoll then he scored 3 in 2 and has been pretty much the starter next to Perttamo. Even though Joe Weight was playing, he's been sold for 30k to Ebbsfleet. Which isn't a bad thing due to the wage he was on. Our finances are terrible and I can't see how we're getting out of this one. Just keep playing football and see how we do. Hopefully the Arsenal cup game will bring us in some revenue. We don't have any players to sell for value and most of their contracts expire at the end of the season. It's going to be an interesting one.

SpillBlood
Some big names in the Liverpool U23 squad in the Checkatrade Trophy! Lucas(starts at Arsenal) started uptop and El Shaarwy on the right wing. Lovren and Mignolet aswell! Joe Gomez coming on as a sub. But Curious who will play. Depay, Rooney and Schneiderlin all played last time. None of them are at the club now. Depay was released on a free .
BoxToBox
I freaking hate that competition in real life, supposed to help develop youth, the big teams play a load of past it old backups, and teams like Bradford get fined for actually playing their youths. Stupid. Cracking work getting past that Liverpool side, though!
SpillBlood
Three players I've signed on frees at the end of the January window. Re-training as a forward. If it doesn't pay off I'll loan next season and see how he becomes. He'll be around the first team. Just needs some match fitness and I'll give him some action. He's only 18, room to improve and only on £200 a week. No brainer. Doesn't look too bad. Only 19 and even if he plays a backup role next year. He's only on £220 currently. Everyone has a promotion clause but that shouldn't be a problem on wages. The one I can't get! He wants too much wage. His marking/tackling are a bit slack but he's only 19 and my scouts think he has bags of potential. Will be keeping an eye on him.

SpillBlood
The dream is over. Was such an even game until the red card. Even after that we had two clear chances with Bunney and Tilney missing them. Rotherhams shape reminds me of dominoes . Glad to see Rotherham do well though. They're currently 8th in the Championship and could be in the play offs at the end of the season.

SpillBlood
It's the final day of the season The Ammies vs The Hatters for the title. Pre-season: Our form: Draws galore! Lutons form: We face Bradford City who are 8th where Luton face Port Vale who are 17th. Let the game commence! First half: 15th minute: Luton go top as Long scores to make it 1 - 0. 27th minute: Schalk misses a huge chance and Braford should be ahead! 35th minute: Portal Vale equalise through Philliskirk and Salford go back to the top! 41st minute: Salford City score! We hold the ball for what feels an age. Morley to Ashby who unleashes one at the edge of the box which flies in! Half time: Second half: 59th minute: Quick counter ball by Sinton, Perttamo runs down, he's 1 on 1 but he drags it wide! 60th minute: It's 2 - 1 to.. Port Vale after Shalaj hits in a penalty! 65th minute: Luton equalise through Olley. Sheffield United is still 0 - 0. 78th minute: Brown makes a mistake and Bradford counter. May is in but it's saved! He should score! 90th minute: Sinton hits a crosss in and Bunney heads onto the bar from a tight angle, unlucky. Full time Buzzing . But what's next? Rotherham are in the playoffs! They'll face Leeds. As a fan that's great to see.
