So the game is underway. I am currently simulating the first season. Normally I will simulate during night or when at work. But today I hope to do 2 seasons to get us underway.

We will follow several aspects of the game, but goalscoring is the most important. Other things will be transfers, contracts, league/cup titles, awards, international tournaments. But please make suggestions if there is something special you want to know.

Most updates will be text updates due to time consuming. But in this first update I will post a screenshot of every player. As you will see the attributes will not be totally what you choosed due the ability of the player.

The leagues loaded in the game are all the 10 leagues of the players, plus the nations of China, Qatar, Egypt, South Africa, France, Germany, Spain, Russia, Holland, Portugal and Brazil.

So we are ready for the first season update.

Game time is now: 01.07.17 (early morning)

@Muttley84 - Marius Lacatus - Romania - Ajax

Club Games/Goals: 46/20

International Caps/Goals: 2/0

Total number of goals: 20

Current Club: Ajax (Transferred on 07.06.17 for 2,9M pounds)

First season:

Marius was a regular for Constanta, who finished 6th in Romanian Liga I. He was voted in the team of the week twice, and team of the year both for his club and the league. He made his international debut against Poland, but is yet to score for his country. His transfer to Ajax is already done and the transfer fee might rise to 5M pounds depending on clauses.

@SoSolidSnake - Arturo Cervone - Italy - Avellino

Club Games/Goals: 42/9

International Caps/Goals: 0/0

Total number of goals: 9

Current Club: Avellino

First season:

Arturo was a regular for Avellino in the first season, but could not help his club more than to just stay clear of relegation to Lega Pro. Avellino finished just 1 place above the relegation. He was named in Serie B team of the week twice, and 5 times U19 player of the week. He has not featured for Italy at senior level yet, but played 10 times for Italy U21 scoring 8 times. (Goals do not count in the competition.)

@Lenzar - Wayne Kerr - England - Ipswich Town

Club Games/Goals: 48/25

International Caps/Goals: 0/0

Total number of goals: 25

Current Club: Ipswich Town

First season

A regular in the first season, Kerr could only help Ipswich to a mid table finish in The Championship. He was runner up as top goalscorer of the league though and voted Young player of the year, and runner up in Player of the year. Amazingly no club has snapped him up yet. For England he just managed his debut for the U21 and has played 2 times scoring once.

@bambi holt - Paul Jaziri - Tunisia - Club Africain

Club Games/Goals: 30/30

International Caps/Goals: 8/4

Total number of goals: 34

Current Club: Club Africain (Transferring to Lyon later on 01.07.17 for yet unknown fee)

First season

Jaziri became Tunisian champion in his first season with Club African. Now he will move to France to play for Lyon. He made his International debut against Algeria. But despite scoring twice in the Quarter Final of Africa Cup of Nations against DR Congo, he could not prevent his nation from loosing 2-4. 34 goals so far totally is the second best in our challenge.

@sherwinriga - Eduardo Santo Tomas - Philippines - Green Archers United

Club Games/Goals: 23/17

International Caps/Goals: 15/11

Total number of goals: 28

Current Club: Green Archers United

First season

Eduardo helped his team to a 5th place in the Philippine league. He has not been discovered by bigger clubs yet, but it can't be long. Having played 15 games for his country already, Eduardo helped Philippines to runner up place in South East Asian Championships. In that tournament he was voted MVP. He also helped Philippines U23 to win South East Asian Games. 15 caps with 11 goals so far makes him the most capped player in our challenge.

@Sankalan - Vikram Shaurya - India - Bengaluru

Club Games/Goals: 37/17

International Caps/Goals: 7/7

Total number of goals: 24

Current Club: Bengaluru

First season

Vikram helped Bengaluru to win Durand Cup, I-League and Federations Cup in his first season. A treble, the only player to do that in the first season. He also figured 7 times for India scoring 1 goal per game. Still no big clubs have made a move for him. He is a bit behind in the total scoring to the best players but he has all it takes to make up for it.

@TottenhamFan101 - Patrick Welsh - USA - Columbus Crew

Club Games/Goals: 40/12

International Caps/Goals: 0/0

Total number of goals: 12

Current Club: Columbus Crew (Transferring to Gladbach later on 01.07.17 for yet unknown fee)

First season

Playing regularly Patrick could not help Columbus through to the MLS Cup in the 2016 season. Instead they finished somewhat disappointing 9th in the Eastern Conference. Patrick was voted rookie of the year though. This season they are 3rd, but Patrick will not stay a long for the MLS anymore as he moves to Gladbach in German Bundesliga. As the only player in the challenge Patrick has not played for his country at any level yet. And so far he only has Cervone behind him in the scoring tally.

@nie jem frytek - William Grigg - North Ireland - Crusaders FC

Club Games/Goals: 50/35

International Caps/Goals: 5/0

Total number of goals: 35

Current Club: Crusaders (Transferring to Tottenham later on 01.07.17 for yet unknown fee)

First season

Grigg played for Crusaders in play offs for Champions League. He also won the Irish Challenge Cup. But could not prevent Crusaders from finishing 1 point behind Linfield in the Premiership. Now he will move to Tottenham and try to brake into the team there. He also made his senior debut for Northern Ireland against Slovakia, but after 5 caps he is yet to score. 35 goals for his club though means he tops our challenge.

@Human - A Human - Bermuda - North Village Rams

Club Games/Goals: 25/25

International Caps/Goals: 7/5

Total number of goals: 30

Current Club: North Village Rams (Transferring to Beijing Guoan later on 01.07.17 for yet unknown fee)

First season

A won both the Bermudan league and FA Cup in his first season. He also made his senior debut for his country against Grenada. Scoring a total of 30 goals he made more than an acceptable first season. Now he will move to China, so it will be interesting to see his goalscoring there.

@TheEarl - Chris McEarl - New Zealand - Auckland City

Club Games/Goals: 21/13

International Caps/Goals: 13/15

Total number of goals: 28

Current Club: Auckland City

First season

Chris didn't have the best of league seasons with Auckland City but still won the league. His display was far better in OFC Champions League. His club won that competition as well with Chris as the top goalscorer in the competition. Only 13 goals for his club so far, but an amazing 15 goals in 13 caps for New Zealand. The only major championship for his country so far was the Confederations Cup, but with opposition like Chile, Australia and Germany it was 3 losses without any goals from Chris nor New Zealand before they where knocked out. Will he stay with Auckland City for another season?

Ok, I didn't expect to go to China so early on. How did Bermuda do in the Caribbean Championship?

The Caribbean Cup was played from March to May of 2016. This was before the start of the game as the game started on July 1st 2016. So because of that didn't participate. Next Caribbean Cup will be in 2018.

I am really sorry this fell apart. Unfortunately the save-game is lost. I will make a new sign up when we all get FM18 and can mess around with the editor there, but don't expect it until some weeks after the full release.

If we have any mods seeing this, this thread can be closed.
