Changes in transfers following patches/updates?

This may be a somewhat unusual question, but does anybody know if there is a way to revert to an older database prior to a patch/update release within FM17?

To cut a long story short, I restarted a save of mine (on 17.1.2), only to notice that transfers re. availability of players, transfer fees, etc. differs to when I played with the same team the first time round (on 17.00/01?), prior to the more recent patches.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

the only way you would have had to back up your initial old  FM17 files and set steam to offline so it cant update the DB 

 

too late now the only option is the in game editor you can transfer players etc etc
