b28937
As it is now, if you allow the option to show regen faces, you get player profiles with a combination of default licensed player faces, silhouette faces, and freak zombie regen faces. You can add a 500 gb third-party facepack that you constantly have to update, but even then you get pictures of varying quality (especially in lower leagues) and still have a lot of silhouette faces. And even when you have a nice profile photo of the player in 2016, you have the inescapable problem of aging. If you're 10 years into a career, it looks silly for the profile of a 29 year-old player to show what he looked like at age 19. Enough of this! It looks terrible and is distracting. If you can turn off the freak zombie regen faces, you should be able to turn off the default licensed player faces as well. Preferences: Show pictures of players and staff who have been generated by the game -- yes/no Show real life player pictures -- yes/no Seriously, how hard can it be to program this? What's the downside of giving people the option? If you can't have nice profile pictures of all players, why force us to use profile pictures of a few players here and there. If you give the option to turn off freak zombie faces, why not give the other option? I have no problem with people who want player pictures. Without doubt, this option should be there. But other people like simplicity and consistency and don't care what players currently look like in real life. Please provide the simple option that lets people choose whether they want or do not want real life player pictures.
ReMeDy
Hopefully they bring back the import a coaching photo so that our coaches aren't married to the regen system. There seem to be some bugs with the regen system in regards to graphical shading issues. Fixing this shading issue will help promote better-looking regens.
