kidhander1983
"Historical mode" only supports NHL, Sweden, and Finland I think. Other leagues are not supported.
Squirrels
Why?
Archibalduk
League rules and structures (i.e. playable leagues) are now database driven (unlike previous versions of EHM which had this information hard-coded). The purpose of the 2006 rule set was simply to allow older databases to run in EHM rather than having to update them to the more modern structures. It takes a lot of work to set up the league structures in the database and so they haven't been added for older databases. So really the older databases are only supported for the purposes of backwards compatibility. You could however add extra structures/playable leagues to the database yourself using my EHM Editor. There's plenty of discussion and tips about adding new leagues here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=110&t=17520
