Named
On our latest release we had 3 NHL top stars stayed on free transfer - Jacob Trouba, Hampus Lindholm, Rickard Rakell. Problem is that seems AI with NHL teams didnt much interested of resign them and they sign in KHL. I tested twice and get the same results. Riz Could You implement some tweak for NHL teams that they will be more interested of resign their TOP RFA players? I post some screens. Thanks. Loto68
This would be very helpful, its absurd how often I find top flight talent playing in Europe and they can't be brought back either because they can only be offered entry level deals, or they are no longer interested in playing the North America (which is kind of absurd for American or Canada players). Lem
Also seeing this too for a large number of players. Spoils the game a bit as there's no way players in their prime would turn down high contracts in the best league in the world to go elsewhere for so much less. European leagues are really for the veteran fringe players. This seems to be new as it never used to be a problem.
Named
Problem is also connected with salary cap issue. AI renewing too many contracts and cause of full salary cap they can't sign these RFAs. AI also don't know that have to pay for taking space cap contracts. They are putting not needed players on block but no one is interested of take these players. We need some improvement here. It's more like NHL teams don't manage finances well enough to grant them a roster spot, then they go to Europe with the season going with a bit of a discount due to the season being started already. Maybe the teams should buy out players more.
