I think that one of the most common ways to 'exploit' the game is to sign an assistant manager with good motivating and tactical knowledge attributes which is relatively easy even with a smaller team. After that it's easy to exploit this assistant's knowledge as you are able to delegate both opposition instructions and team talks to the assistant and enjoy the spoils. I don't know why these options exist in the game as it's about you being the manager instead of you letting someone do your dirty work and you enjoying the results. And even if you never talk to your team during the matches or never do tactical decisions there is never anything negative happening like players losing confidence on you even if you slack all the time. 

So. It would be okay to be able to receive suggestions in a form of report from the assistant or one of the coaches but you should always be forced to make the things yourself. Or if there is the option to delegate everything to other people, shouldn't there be a possibility that the team will start reacting in a negative way?
