Deego619
Just wondering in a hypothetical situation. If I was managing a club from San Marino, and obviously this means my youth recruitment is capped and and the Youth Rating of this nation is low so this means my youngsters will be poor. However, if I have affiliate feeder clubs from nations with a high Youth Rating such as Brazil or Spain i know that there's a chance that my youth intake will contain these nationalities. But will there be a chance that these players can be a huge step up in potential compared to San Marinese youngsters due to Spain and Brazil's Youth Rating being high? Or are these foreign youngsters capped at the San Marino Youth Rating?
mark1985
It depends on the potential of the player. Every country no matter how small can produce a wonderkid or a duff player. Think of the example of George Best from Northern Ireland and the large number of players from so called big countries who are a bit useless. It depends on the individual player. As far as I understand, the youth intake potential is an average figure. Some players will be above that figure, some below. There is more chance of Spain/Brazil producing a quality player but San Marino/Andorra are potentially capable of producing a quality player there's just a lower chance of it happening. As far as I know, the potential isn't capped by where the regen is produced (in whose intake he comes in) but by his nationality
Slabbekoorn
Yes I have tested this and it is right. I'll try to find the link and post it here. The affiliates clubs youth recruitment etc is taken into account too.
