duncan_keeling
I was having a conversation with my son - as we're both fans of FM - which came to the conclusion that we're both missing the simplicity of FM 2005. while the modern era FM is a challenge, it's more like an actual job than a game. Whereas before, I felt that I could dip in and out of FM, that is just not really possible to do with the latter iterations. So, it would be excellent if FM 2005 was released, with an updated database, as, say, FM Arcade, for instance. Heck, I'd happily pay for a re-mastered version of FM2005 that works on Windows 10 and pay annually for database updates.
Baatus
Sounds to me like you're describing FM Touch.
rusty217
Isn't that what FM Classic is for?
FrazT
Releasing updated versions of older games has been mentioned before but for a number of reasons, both work entailed and commercial, will never be considered. As said above the truncated versions of the current games sound like a perfect fit for you.
