Funkin\' Hussler
I am currently involved in a save, in the year 2020 with Chippenham town. I am in my fourth season in the Premiership, and all other teams, my starting 11 is mostly made up of regens, with the odd 'real' player involved here and there. My real players are Lionel Messi and Anthony Vanden Borre, 32 and 34 respectively (I think, I know they are both getting on!). What is really getting my goat is the fact that if my team are involved in any kind of penalty shoot out, the only players that can be depended upon to score are the 'real' players! In a few years time, I am doomed never to score another penalty. So my gripe/question is this.....Why are regens so bad at taking penalties and has anyone else encountered a problem such as this??? paulmatthewbrowne
I found this too, in 2022 there were no regens with penalty taking ability greater than 10!
simon07
i had the same problem, in my 2040 save whilst managing Newcastle my best penalty taker had an attribute of 8!
gonzález
Had no one above 13 for Penalty Taking or Influence when my team became all regens. I think this is something they've looked to rectify for FM2009.
Neji
It's a known problem, set pieces are generally terrible for most regens. Regens have apparently been fixed for 09, so lets hope they get it right.
