I can't ! - What if I want my CM(d) to close down a little less? Can't ! - What if I want my AM(R/L) to cut inside, but not drible or do long shots? I can't ! - Etc Etc Etc. It'd be good to have lot more player roles to play with. I don't want "custom roles" or something like that, just more player roles that make sense! Atarin Posted July 26, 2017 Share Posted July 26, 2017 If your TM(s) is coming back to defend then who's the out ball? Just change his role to DF(d). You can still go direct, although you wouldn't find your striker very often because he'll be quite deep. If your CM(d) closes down less then he's not a CM(d). If you want a similar role that doesn't close down as much just use DLP(d). If you don't want them playing risky passes just instruct them to pass it shorter. If your AMR/L cuts inside without dribbling then they're probably a Raumdeuter. Without hard coded instructions then there are no roles.
