Improvements all over the pitch on what we had especially at full back and the wings we haven't quite sorted the back up striker situation but with Batzel able to play there too hopefully that is enough for now. Mbemba and Fofana is going to be a trail and error situation for a for a while, Mbemba is a natural CB but his jumping reach worries me a little but Fofana is a natural DM with better jumping reach, i'll probably start them in their natural positions but if we concede too many from crosses then i'll be swapping them around. As you know I always try and get talent in and i've certainly spent big on it this summer,obviously some of the prices means this could be a risk but every top club in England was after Nicholls so hopefully us paying out now on him was the right choice. Gartner and Bretcher are less high risk deals but there does seem a lot of promise with the pair. Conca and Katsamakas are 2 I am really excited about all of Europe's big clubs were after the pair so get them is a real coup and I honestly see these 2 in our starting XI this time next season. I have £10M left to spend thanks to Manuel's move to Barca, I didn't want to let him go in all honesty but Batzel is probably the better player and a £16.3M profit on a player signed for £145k 2 seasons a go is a great deal no matter who you are and after the big spending I made it was the best decision just in case another player player becomes available in the next month or so. Dexter_Morgan Posted September 13, 2017 Author Share Posted September 13, 2017 Had this happen this morning It's kind of my own fault as when I holidayed at the beginning I set the auto save to yearly to speed it up a little and forgot to restore it to monthly when I started applying for jobs, still frustrating though. I'm unsure what to do at the minute, i'm thinking maybe do the same kind of save but with me starting at Ipswich rather than holiday those few years? What do other people think?
