A new update ?

Someone can tell me the usefulness of these continuous little updates almost a year after the sale of the game ??

I don't know for sure but its usually name changes of players/teams/competitions due to legal licences or changes to the advertising boards around the pitch.

Some of the updates before the game launches will be steam updates and not necessarily linked to the game.

In that case I do not understand why editors and other tools, made by the community, always stop working. 

Any information on the updates would be welcome.

Probably because they're expecting version 17.X.X and it's now 17.X.Y.   That's not SI's problem.

Anything done by the "community" is, by definition, not official and therefore likely to create problems if the master code changes. This is not a valid complaint that you're making.

Ok. Thanks for the information. Nobody knows what they're for. It must be a secret...

Looks like all it updated was the banner ad on the main menu and the social media login pages. Generally if the update is only a couple of MB then all it updates is the banner on the main menu or the adboards.
