diddydaddydoddy
Couldn't see this being discussed elsewhere, but... when I play as a lower league club (in particular) and limited to the number of coaches, yet I have a Goalkeeping Coach who has a good rating for non-goalkeeping attributes (ie Tactics or Fitness) - then I think the club would utilise those attributes in real life. Yet when assigning training you don't get that opportunity in the game. Same applies to Fitness Coaches too.
Cougar2010
If they have good attributes elsewhere why are you signing them as a GK or fitness coach? Just sign them as a normal coach which then gives you access to all the categories.

Then there is your answer. They want to coach GK or fitness, not other categories.

I believe in the lower leagues, many unemployed coaches would be less precious with their need to find employment. So if they could add value to the team's coaching they'd therefore have greater opportunity to impact and benefit the team's performance, cement their position/importance at the club and improve their own CV.
