patriostfc24
The last two years of Football Manager Mobile (Handheld) for mobiles & tablets I’ll be honest haven’t been what a call a decent football management simulation app. At £6.99 plus the scandalous in app purchases to go with it, I think what we get is nothing short of woeful. Managing a football match I think should be the highlight of all three versions of this game/app but with the mobile version it’s a let down. You should be able to manage your teams matches for nearing a 15-30 mins per game, be able to make team talks, pretty much be able to do what you can do in the PC/MAC version but slimmed down of course for mobiles & tablets. And there is the tablet version Football Manager Touch which I’m sorry is an awful waste of £20, and I checked throughout its release was never given a discount for anybody. Shame on you Sega. I’m hoping this years offering is better in terms of graphics, gameplay, and the matches. More features including team talks would be very welcome but we will get anything like this, no I don’t think either. But in a few hours we’ll all find out. Sega we want more for the mobile edition of this football management game but as always you will fail. Cheers for another woeful offering before its even released. To develop a game with almost all the features of the PC game would require it to cost almost as much as the PC game - or we wouldn't be able to make it. We feel for the price there's a lot of gameplay on FMM and we have announced plenty of new features. Thanks to you for judging the game before even playing it! patriostfc24
I’m only judging the game/app based on the last two offerings, so forgive me if I’ve touched a nerve or two. But the proof will indeed be in the pudding tomorrow when we gamers get our hands on it. Not sure everyone will be positive but I’m sure there will be some. I think you're being very, very harsh. I myself have been quite critical of Football Manager Mobile at times but it is still (without doubt) the best football management simulation of its type available on a smartphone. The in app purchases are optional. Not using them does not impact on your experience of the game. I have never used them (and never will) and it has never held me back in being successful. The game is designed to be a streamlined version of Football Manager, which suits most people as a lot of us don't have the time or commitment to play for the full fat version. But despite it being a streamlined version, each release often has enhancements which add additional layers to what is quite a sophisticated game. And for £8.99 - I don't think you can argue with the price. It's a premium title and it's cheaper (and considerably more fun) than two pints of London priced beer. patriostfc24
Since I’m not a bratty teen, I think not. It’s just my honest opinion of the offerings from Sega of this game/app. It’ll number 1 by 6pm tomorrow on the App Store but I bet the reviews won’t be positive, but I hope I’m wrong. And since I was commenting on how this game/app has been over the last two years, people are meant to be giving their own opinions on it too. But all I’ll say is, someone delete this thread. NO MORE COMMENTS. CLOSED!

DWCallaghan
Actually team talks and spending 15 - 30 mins per match would be totally against what FMM is about. It is supposed to be streamlined, so you can play for 30 mins and get through a chunk of matches, it is mobile !!

For us, FMM is the fastest way to enjoy FM and making matches longer, adding lots of PC content like teamtalks at this moment in time, doesn't sit right for us. The games have different dev teams and go in slightly different directions. FMT sounds far more like the type of game you want to enjoy as it's worked on by the same team that make our big daddy PC version
