mmc071
The game appears to have a blanket block on opening negotiations with players and staff who've recently been transferred or signed a new contract - but this certainly isn't true to real life. Yeah, some people simply would not consider a move having recently signed a contract, but there are plenty of real life examples where people do and this should be reflected in the game. One common scenario for example is where a club offer a new contract to a player whose contract is expiring to stop them leaving for free, but the club might still want to sell him. Another is that a player could sign a new contract with a club in order to collect a loyalty bonus or get a pay rise, but are still be open to moving to another club if a better club came along. Also do you really think the agent is going to say player x isn't interested when its in the agent's interest to arrange another move and collect more fees!
