Bayern Munich Tactic Ideas

Recommended Posts

I had a pretty rough first season and acquired Marco Asencio and Alexis Sanchez while letting Ribéry and Robben walk. I like the idea of playing two IF's and Lewandowski didn't score nearly enough goals last year as a CF. Any tactical ideas? I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!

    I just thought of something a while ago... I thought why not replicate the barca treble winning side of 2014/15 season. So this is my idea;

--------SK---------

WB---CD---BPD---WB

-----------DLP(d)-------------

-----BBM-----AP(s)-------

AP(s/at)----CF---------IF(s/at)

    Imo these were the roles played by barca in their treble winning season, but might need a little tweaking to work. TIs should be pass from back, mixed passing, normally tempo, also a form of press would be needed to be incorporated, so raising the defensive line higher, closing down on More, and maybe using tighter marking and prevent GK distributions along with various opposition instructions.

    For the beginning I advice you watch the game to know what's needed from your players, perhaps change in roles/duties, especially the messi duty (not sure If either attack or support) the neymar duty also as he often took on defenders but you might wanna leave it on support as Alexis' would traits would make him take on defenders more as he "likes to run with ball often" no use use overdoing it.

You might have to change the AP to a central midfielder on support duty because it might clash with the IF for some unknown reason.

Team shape should be flexible depending on the type of roles.

With respect to specialist roles;

0-1 for very fluid

1-2 for fluid

2-3 for flexible

3-4 for structured

4-5 for highly structured.

This is the guide I use when setting team shape. And so far it has worked for me.

Mentality is control because it's the Barca way.

This is what I've imagined as that's what I do before I implement a tactic. Hugely appreciate it if you could test it out for me as I haven't done so.

Id go with a 4411 with bayern.

Id play lewandowski as deep lying forward support mixed with sanchez as shadow striker and if play with coman and muller as two wide midfielders.

Id put them on support and give them PI to get further forward.

Then in the middle id go vidal as centre midfielder (defend) and then set the other central midfielder to centre midfield on attack. Maybe tolisso.

Then id play 2 support full backs 2 centre backs.

Sweeper keeper and high line for pressing.

I did this on fm17 and won everything. If it works in 18 youll do well with it

You can check it out, I did the same... Try googling specialist roles. I took a screenshot a while ago I'll try and check if I still have it.

Includes the wide playmaker. Using the rules I wrote above, you should form a stable tactic.
