The season then plays out as it did in real life, with the same transfers, and generally each teams strength is set according to where they finished in reality that 2017 season. But, your team can change the future by buying the players that will turn out to be great players, eg. buy Salah before he goes to Liverpool, etc. Its a sort of cheat, not not exactly plus it could be great fun.
