SI can we have some help

Recommended Posts

I install this one, and it change from Radeon 9200 to Radeon 9250, but i dont know what to install next so that i can play demo.

http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeon-prer300-xp.html

Click on Catalyst Software Suite on that page to start the download then follow the installation instructions also linked on that page.

Before you do though bare in mind you are below the minimum specs for video card so it probably won't make a difference

PC System Requirements

OS - Windows Vista or XP

Processor Speed - Vista - 2.0GHz, XP - 1.4GHz Memory - Vista - 1GB, XP - 512MB Videocard - 128MB Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra, ATI Radeon 9800, Intel 82915G/82910GL or greater.

^ I realise that mate, but the reason I pointed at that one is if you click on 'Previous Drivers and Software' you'll see 6 different releases. DxDiag reports a driver version like this 6.14.0010.6614 in yours but the pages I linked to it calls it 8.31, so I had no way of knowing which of those updates you downloaded or if you downloaded an older one as the dxdiag date shows 5/3/2006. Just a case of crossed wires rather than me not reading your post :).

If you downloaded the one I linked to that is the most recent release. Beyond that there is nothing else to be done as far as I know. The more technically minded might know ways to tweak and overcome shortfalls but I don't. But as I posted you are below the minimum Graphics Card model for ATI Cards anyway.

Unfortunately you are in the boat with everyone else who only plays one game on their laptop/desktop and won't be shelling out on a new one for the sake of playing FM. I still have the 2D working but I won't be buying a new machine just so I can play FM with 3D when my current laptop does everything else I need it for as is.

There is a fair amount of FM players who probably dont play many/any other games, my PC will not handle 3D (despite playing a fair amount of higher end 3D games with my 64MB) yet I cannot play with just 2D.. I think alot of people who play FM will be in the same boat as me and unless this is just a bug, SI have alienated possibly a fair amount of fans :(

So, why when i click the Fm Icon the game don't run but show me a error mex? What i can do?

I suspect this isn't what's supposed to happen. SI have always said that if you could run FM08 you could run FM09 in 2D at least. No doubt they'll get their thinking caps on and try and work out what the problem is.

But what i can do for run Fm2009?

My Pc have windows XP Home Edition, ADM Athlon CP 2400+ , 2.00 GHz, 768MB di Ram and Nvidia GeForce MX440.

Fm08 worked very well, but the FM09's demo don't run, show me a error mex? What i can do??

Serpico, Are u Italian?
