knap
GOODBYE should be more attacking and ARGUS more defensive. I've had best results using 343 with Spurs.

knap
343 is strongest formation and 433 most attacking. Try ARGUS or GOODBYE 343 with BLUE MATTER for easy games. My last season with Lpool I used GOODVYE

Jonnysarg
Do you train players in their roles or is there something different to train them in especially when signing younger players
knap
There will be a minor improvements with decisions with a green role. Useful for outside strikers to be amr/l st players, so retraining those would be useful.

knap
The bbm is also a creative player so perhaps AP will help. The bwm is usually defensive but if the player has creativity the dlp.
Mcmauro82
I'm using your tactics, I win a lot and I make lots of goals but I suffer many goals; Is there a way to better defend your tactics? You excuse my English
Glassy
Is there a particular tactic you would recommend for the Championship of lower level PL sides? I've tried to use these for Forest in the Championship and I'm getting absolutely dicked. Conceding 3-5 goals a game.

Ricotero_uy
END OF THE SEASON REVIEW We got the promotion, won the league and broke all the records (points, wins, goals scored). The only main change from the first half was a big one. Xisco who was the best player in average rating was replaced by free transfered Giuseppe Rossi who went to score 8 goals in 13 matches while Xisco scored 17 in 25 games. We were eliminated at the Copa del Rey by Atletico Madrid after losing both games (2-4 at home and 0-2 away) and had a couple of bad games but the overall results are amazing. Our youth teams perform really well, specially the B team who finished 3rd in their Segunda B group and perform brilliantly in the playoffs winning promotion to Segunda, something that Burgos (the champions of the group couldn't do). U19 with only 3 contracted players until the youth reinforcement in March finished 2nd in their U19 group behind Athletic and was eliminated in the U19 Cup by Barcelona in QFs. I've already signed seven players including Joaquín Arzura from River Plate (ARG) who was on loan in our team with a 1.7M euro clause to buy.

Moffloz
Hi! First off thanks for great tactics!! I have been using the Argus 343 for my journeyman save where i started unemployed, moved off to Torpedo Minsk in Belarus and now landed a job in Denmark with Viborg. First 2 seasons in Minsk the tactic worked flawlessly and i got promoted first season and got 3 place the following season. But after moving to Denmark i have come across alot more teams playing 4-4-2 systems and it seems like theres a weakness when playing 3-4-3, cause i looose alot more games now then before. Would you recommend another tactic vs 4-4-2 or should i just stick it out and hope the players gel even more into the system? I am in my second season in denmark. Barely avoided the drop in the first season. English is not my first language, so please forgive typing errors

knap
am using FMT atm but usually use AM for all training. This is from last year with regard to training PRE-SEASON general training -TEAM COHESION HIGH scheduling 50% (no rest before-no rest after match) match preparation = MATCH TACTICS before the 1st game of the season general training -BALANCE AVERAGE (no rest before -REST after match) keep 50% match preparation MATCH TACTICS until 100% fluid, after that the training should be like this general training BALANCE AVERAGE (no rest before- REST after match) 10 or 20 % ( i prefer 10%) match preparation (whatever you like, it depends from the opponent - except match tactics and teamwork , its pointless to use these because when you have 100% fluid your players have good understanding) this till the end of the season , of course if you buy some players in January you drop the familiarity and you must again adjust the scheduling to 50% and match tactics
jayt28
Question for you Knap if you have the time. Good work on the various tactics. Firstly Coventry have walked the first season and doing the same in the second season. using the 101HS tactic. My only issue seems to be that when i play good sides i can get a lead but cannot hold onto it. I constantly give up late goals. I can't see out the game. The same thing happens with my Liverpool save. Against weaker sides as you can see there is no problem, when Liverpool play other top sides or when Coventry play sides in a higher division, they can dominate and then concede late on. I guess i need a tactic to shut up shop. Any thoughts?
knap
SUS tactics can be done in a number of ways The WB runs need reducing either support or defend. Can also be dropped to a back 5 and Defensive Full Backs. Dropping mentality but perhaps not to far say control. If AI attacking from wings, can try wingers to mark out the AI FBs. Perhaps use 442 or 4141 but tweak WBs and maybe drop mentality. Going defensive does give the AI opportunity to get back into a game as well.

knap
Same as SUS - Control may be a better mentality - If AI attacking on Wings perhaps a 442 or 4141 will help control wings.

solounamigo
Knap your ARGUS for 18.2.1 gave me so much pleasure. As you can see on the screens before, I just destroyed teams with it. Ricotero_uy
Playing my 2nd season with Osasuna, currently 2nd in La Liga 10 points behind Real Madrid, I was playing the Copa del Rey semifinals against Barcelona and lost with my Best XI 4-1 at the Camp Nou and decided to play with my subs team the 2nd leg at home because I have a complicated schedule between and after the two games. For my surprise the subs did a perfect job and defeat a tired best xi Barcelona 5-0. We are in the final against my favourite team, Athletic Club. The tactic works perfect, I don't have most of the possession everygame but all the players are incredible with it. UPDATE: Just finished the league game against Barcelona and the Best XI would also have qualified for the final but with not so much margin. Barcelona players were very tired to create real danger to us, they had more possession and shots but we double the shots on target. MattyOlav
Hi, I've started a new save on 18.3 in argentinian lower leagues, one of the most complicated in terms of amount of teams, format, and economic. I've started in the 4th tier with my local team, and played for over 2 seasons, with great results: Season one: 4th tier - Federal B Group stage: 160 teams in 16 zones, top 5 of each group qualifies to Promotion stage: Promotion stage: 8 groups of 10 teams each, first one wins promotion: We delighted the board with an unexpected promotion. Season objetive was reach promotion stage. Season two: 3rd tier - Federal A Group stage: 40 teams in 4 zones of 10 teams each, top 2 qualifies to Promotion stage: Promotion stage: one group with the 8 qualified teams. Top one wins promotion: Expectations were around top of the league, and we won the only promotion spot! Season three: 2nd tier - B Nacional Top team wins promotion, from 2nd to 9th plays a playoff for another promotion spot. Expectations are Fight bravely against relegation, and we are undefeated after 5 games. Looking really good so far! Huge thanks again!
